Tom & Jerry Christmas Party

On the second Friday of this month Hans and I hosted our second annual Tom & Jerry Christmas party! A delicious warm holiday drink made of a secret McKnight family recipe batter, hot water, and a splash of rum and brandy, we are carrying on the McKnight tradition and sharing it with friends and family.

Brett acted as our trusty bartender, serving up the delicious drinks as the rest of us mingled in the living room and kitchen. We greatly enjoyed the gathering of friends including frisbee buddies, Cosmic family members, and several old friends.

We had a delicious spread of finger food at the potluck complete with warm brie and cranberries, roasted vegetables, smoked salmon, and even a crab and mushroom quiche made by our dear friend Barbara.

But the favorite dish of the night had to be Hans' famous chocolate Guinness cake with Bailey's Irish Cream frosting! A slice of heaven if I do say so myself! :)

Another big hit were the snowmen and Santa 3D Christmas glasses supplied by Jan, and we all enjoyed taking turns looking at our beautiful tree with the fun images.

 It was a wonderful evening and a great way to kick off the holiday season. We can't wait to host again next year!
