Marston-McKnight Christmas in Sunriver

We spent this Christmas weekend with Dag’s Mom, Krystyna, and Hans’ parents, Jan and Brett, and aunt Sharon and Grandma P in Sunriver, Oregon.

On Saturday we went cross-country skiing on the Nordic course at Mt Bachelor.  We lucked out with a beautiful sunny day and were happy to pick up where we left off last year on our skis, skiing over 6 miles of trails with a handful of black diamonds.

On day 2 of our snow adventures we took the backcountry ski trail in to Todd Lake.  Covering six miles with the ski around the lake we had a blast with perfect dry snow conditions!

Krystyna even made it to the lake for a photo shoot all the way on snow shoes!  So proud of our adventuring mama ;).

In the evening we came home to celebrate Christmas with the rest of the family.  Enjoying opening presents and stocking stuffers together.  It was a wonderful white Christmas that we thoroughly enjoyed and will remember for years to come!
