After over a 4 month process, we finally closed on the sale of our old house on West 23rd Ave, and the purchase of our new house on Harvard Drive at the end of July.

While we loved our old house and neighborhood off Hawkins Lane, we found after living there for 2 and a half years that 2,700 square feet and a split-level home was just not the right fit for us and our future family.

Our house hunt over the Spring and Summer months included dozens of showings (thank you Caleb Fjarli for being the best and most patient realtor!). But when we walked into 2170 Harvard Drive we fell in love with the open floor plan and large new kitchen and living areas.

In addition to the great open layout, we also loved the Industrial Farmhouse theme the builder had used for the house, and went to work decorating and making the home "ours" while keeping with the same style.

We found the neighborhood to be perfect for us and the pups as well, being just a half block away from the Churchill-Kennedy complex with numerous fields to play fetch with Linkers. We were also very excited to discover the new section of Ridgeline Trail called Wild Iris Ridge only a short half mile walk up Bailey Hill from our home! Link and I have been greatly enjoying weekend hikes in the area.

But we didn't truly feel at home until we watched our first Duck game in the family room.

We are greatly looking forward to hosting more Duck games and dinner and game nights with family friends in our new home.
