Relaxing on the Cape

At the end of March we decided to take a weekend to explore more of the Northern Oregon Coast at Cape Kiwanda near Lincoln City. We packed up the trailer and the Ridgeline and set off for a short getaway.

We stayed at Cape Kiwanda RV Resort, just a short walk across the road from the beach, and enjoyed beautiful weather the whole weekend.

It was a much needed break after a busy winter, and all four of us soaked up the sunshine and fresh sea air lounging in our rocker camp chairs on the beach.

A major highlight of the trip was the fine beachside dining we enjoyed at Pelican Brewery! Feasting on delicious lox flatbread and fresh fish and chips and ceviche, we thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience with an unobstructed view of the beach from the brewery patio.

While just a weekend, the short trip proved the perfect getaway to kick off more spring and summer trailering adventures!
